On Wednesday 3rd February 2016 UNISON held its annual social in the Millennium Gallery. 

The morning was taken up with training for stewards with discussions on: workplace mediation, where to find information, and experiences of dealing with Occupational Health. 

At lunch time a buffet was provided for all attending the event which included: Reverse Bingo, Raffle Draw and Quiz.  The theme was Reclaim Your Lunch and Tracey Holland spoke about the campaign. 

Everyone received a mini lunch bag containing: a mug, a piece of fruit and information about the importance of taking breaks.  

During the lunch members held up ♥UNISON posters for the week of action to celebrate the work done by union reps and members in our workplaces and in society. This is to show we are proud of our unions and reject the government’s attempts to damage them with the trade union bill. 

Over 60 members attended the event and feedback was positive.
